Seeing the end of the tunnel of 2010!

Wow! Boy have I been busy!!! I got 5 layouts done! And...I am almost done with the 6th one! I had to get a new cricut mat because all mine have finally lost their stickiness!!!! Now that I have it, I should get even more layouts done! I do have a deadline, so I have to get busy!!!! Monday I am going to a friend's house for some cropping. I am hoping to get 2010 done!!!!

I love this title!!! I used DCWV green cardstock, fed it through the xyron, and then glittered it with white glitter! Loving the glitter lately! I used 2 carts for this cut. Cupcake and Lyrical Letters.

Here is the layout the title is on! It was our Christmas tree and picture of us. I used DCWV red cardstock for on page and the DCWV Christmas paper for the pattern paper. Green DCWV cardstock for title (see above) and for matting of pics. Journal tag is fancypantsdesign. Which I have come to *love*!

This layout was of the moon on the day of the Full Eclipse in December. The pics aren't great, but I still had to scrap it!!! Black DCWV carstock for background and matting. Karen Foster paper for circles. Orange swirl paper was and old set of JoAnne's paper essentials that I got for $1.17 on clearance years ago!!! Journal title is fancypantsdesign and title is Glitter cardstock from DCWV. Cart used was Blackletter.

This layout was for a family member's birthday dinner and party. I used Green DCWV cardstock for background. Large cut paper is unknown. Pattern paper is Scenic Route. Journal tag is scenic route. Black Flower is a die cut from EZ Designs. Black cardstock from Hobby Lobby for title. Cart used is Opposites Attract.

Fun times with a dune buggy!!!! White background is DCWV, pattern paper is Scenic Route, arrows are Scenic Route, sentence strip is Scenic Route, Journal tag is fancypantsdesign, Title and jeep is Brown cardstock from DCWV. Carts used were Cuttin' Up for title and Seasonal Summer Vacation (which I just got and l-o-v-e!!!)

This layout was some target practice that family did at the property. I used DCWV patterned paper (the manly book) for the background and for the boys will be boys cut. I used brown cardstock for matting. Green cardstock for title. Both from DCWV. Camo paper is Karen Foster. Carts used were Cuttin' Up and Indie Art.

Phew!!! I was busy! But I am so glad that I am almost done with 2010 and am pleased with how they turned out! I normally have not been scrapping at home because of lack of time, but I have enjoyed it so much! I normally power layout all my photos with what I want to use ahead of time (which I will be doing soon for 2011), but I have liked adding some stuff at home! Thanks for looking and bye for now!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! I spent today actually working on some layouts! It is so hot here, being outside is out of the question!

This page showed my nieces playing around! I used DCWV cardstock for the solid background and DCWV solid for the bracket and title. I cut the bracket with Alphalicious cart and title with Zoo animals cart and alphalicious for the ampersand. Scenic Route paper for my pattern paper and sentence strip. The buttons were bought at wal-mart years ago, and have no name on them. This layout shows the pictures that Jer took with his Kite rig! He has many hobbies as well, and I love to incorporate those in my layouts! I used DCWV cardstock for the background and title and kite. The title was cut with cupcake and zoo animals cart. The kite was gypsy wanderings cart that came with my Gypsy. I used Scenic Route paper for the pattern paper and the zig zag blue paper is Bazzil.

I am so excited I got 2 layouts and done! The 4th is a day to relax and get stuff done! I am very thankful for those service men and women who fight for us everyday so that we can enjoy our freedoms! Happy 4th everyone!

Hooray!

So this week I spent some time working on finishing 2010 layouts and a card. Here is what I did on Saturday and Sunday!

I made this card for my father-in-law for his birthday! His birthday is around the 4th, so I always do a July 4th theme! I used a red and blue shiny cardstock for the card and for the star and Hooray title. The title is Lyrical Letters cart. I used a cake stamp from Stamps for Life and colored them with prisma color markers. I then added some glitter dots to the cake.

This layout was showing Jer's Grandpa's final resting place for his ashes and Jer's family. Just snapshots of the family at the property. I used Fence patterned paper from Karen Foster, cowboy paper (artist unknown), Cosmo Cricket for flowers, swirls, frames and sentence strip, brown cardstock from DCWV for title. Hannah Montana cart for title.

Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July! Be safe and if you are in the south, stay cool!!!!

More pages done!

So I tried to post this last night, but Blogspot was not responding at all! So, here it is today! I did complete these layouts yesterday and I am working on one today...I did run out of tape runner, so I will be off to the store before I can finish!

I completed another 2 pages! I thought I could only get done 1 layout done today, but I was wrong! I have officially started December of 2010, but I have a long way to go! We had many activties happen in December, not just Christmas!!!

This layout was our Urban Dare experience! You pretty much have to do a scavenger hunt in the city (ours being Ft. Worth) and try to get a good time! I used DCWV solid paper for background and title and city cut out. I used Scenic Route for pattern paper. Fancy Pants Design for journal tag. Flowers are a company I am not sure about. I got them 3 years ago at Scrapbook convention! I finally used the last of them on this layout!

Here is a close up of the title! I used the city from Dress Up Dolls cart and Cuttin Up cart for the Urban Dare title. Isn't it super cute? The city matched the shirts perfect!!!

This layout was to show all the work that was done in creating Jer's Grandpa's Memorial Garden out at the property. Jer's family wanted a place to bury his ashes and a place they could come to pay their respect. They worked many weekends on it and it looks great! I used DCWV solid for the background. Scenic Route paper for patterned paper and for title. Fancy Pants Design for journal tag. Memories sticker is from Creative Memories and the felt flower is Heidi Swapp.

I have many more layouts to do to commerate the Garden. Will post more soon! Hopefully I can sneak away and get some tape runner!
